Reds pitcher Aaron Harang took another step closer to returning from a back injury Tuesday when he threw 58 pitches over three innings in a simulated game

The Reds altered their rehab assignment plan for pitcher Homer Bailey on Tuesday and switched his scheduled start for Triple-A Louisville into a planned one-inning relief appearance.
